Bennett Graebner Executive Producer

Bennett Graebner, Executive Producer of The Bachelor, Makes More Connections with TLC’s Love at First Kiss. Bennett Graebner, the executive producer of The Bachelor and The Bachelorette television programs, popular on ABC, is premiering a new version of matchmaking: Love at First Kiss. Graebner characterizes the new show – set to air in August on TLC – as the speed-dating or jump-start version of the previous two.

Basically, the show starts with a kiss between two strangers and follows the play-out. Graebner finds insight in the format, which is that this first meeting can bridge the gap of prejudice in physical attraction or lack thereof. He and his team tend to pair people according to their interests and disposition, not necessarily looks, which can lead to unexpected results.

If both players pass the kiss test and choose to take the option, they go on an actual speed-date for two minutes where they find if the kiss was real or not. Each has the choice to discontinue at any point during the program. And while the producers work to make matches correctly, things don’t always turn out to plan (Ideamensch).

Graebner bought the idea from a program in Holland. He added some changes, including sticking with someone who seemed to click with the viewing crowd regardless of the on-screen fallout.

The fact that Love at First Kiss is something like a reality-based program doesn’t mean it does away with the same necessary tenets of storytelling that garner public interest in any case: beginning, middle and end with high stakes tested by conflict and tension. According to Bennett Graebner, the difference with reality programs is the need to get this same effect when participants might react unpredictably.

However, when the participants connect and the show works, the outcome is its own reward for Graebner.

Bennett Graebner graduated with an English Literature degree, Phi Beta Kappa, from Vassar College and from the cinematic arts school at the University of Southern California with a Master in Fine Arts degree. He is a veteran of the television set, having worked various posts from grip to cinematography. His shows have won awards at the Teen Choice and ASCAP Film and Television Awards. He lives in Southern California.

Lady Gaga Joins Cast of American Horror Story

Over the past four seasons, American Horror Story has become one of the most interesting shows on television. No other show has been able to blend true horror with comedy and drama. The show has also become known for its amazing casting, as it continues to attract some of Hollywood’s top talent.

According to Entertainment Weekly, American Horror Story is living up to its reputation by having cast Lady Gaga in the next season of the anthology series. Lady Gaga will be a regular in the series, which will air this fall on FX. It will also market her first major role as an actress.

Fans like Zeca Oliveira have learned that the fifth season of the show will be entitled Hotel, but no information regarding the storyline has been released or in what time period the show will take place. Lady Gaga also said on Twitter that she does not know at this time what character she will play.

Based on the way last season’s Freak Show utilized music, do not be surprised if Lady Gaga will also be able to utilize her musical talents in the show. Since all of her previous acting gigs were very short, it will be interesting to see how she does in a much larger role over an entire television season.
