Susan McGalla was born and raised in East Liverpool, Ohio. She attended Mount Union College where she obtained her bachelor’s degree in marketing and business. Post graduation she remained connected to the college by joining the institution’s Board of Advisors.
As a successful business woman, Susan McGalla has proven that she is well fit to serve with the best and as the best. From 1986 to 1994, she established her career working in numerous managerial as well as marketing positions with the Joseph Horne Company. Upon leaving JHC, she moved on to become part of the American Eagle Outfitters team. While working there she helped raise the bar as a divisional merchandise buyer with a focus on women’s clothing. She continued on to rise within the company working in numerous leadership positions and eventually going on to become the companies chief merchandising officer and president. As the company’s fearless leader, McGalla helped to spearhead the release of the organization’s brands 77kids and aerie.
According to bloomberg.com, after leaving American Eagle, McGalla found herself thriving in the investment and financial markets as a private consultant. Susan McGalla is driven to succeed. Throughout her career, she has been a point of reference of what it takes to achieve by thriving in any market or position she has been in. Among her many accomplishments, she was selected as a member of the Board of Director of HFF inc., she also became the chief executive officer of Wet Seal Inc. and she founded P3 Executive Consulting. Most recently, she became the Vice President of Business Strategy and Creative Development for the Pittsburgh Steelers. Susan McGalla is an inspiration and a mark of excellence in the business world.
